A highly decorated player from Hawaii with two All-Hawaii First Team selections, he helped lead his team to three ILH Championships and two HHSAA State Championships.

At Joel E. Ferris High School, Marcus totaled 12 goals and seven assists during his career. He earned GSL Honorable Mention recognition as a sophomore and Second Team All-League honors as a junior.
