@MickyLittle66@geordiejosh Not really. As long as they can kick the ball and don't throw it in their own net every other week they'll be accepted gleefully.
@cam_nufc Couldn't disagree more. Tonali in a competent system runs the show. 24/25 he was the single biggest factor in our success and last season the entire squad was a disaster. He has interest for good reason.
@SeanMcnall31331@tomhfh Palestinians have received aid for decades. Hamas is heavily funded and armed by Iran and its many proxies. The US also (wrongly) cut off aid to Ukraine over a year ago.
@captdiso Your East Coast also regularly has hot summers so adjust for that, we don't (not to the extend we have lately). Air Con is obviously a big difference, it's very limited here, but not the only.
@captdiso Roads, railways, houses, places of work. The UK is fundamentally designed mild temperatures common in the Northern Hemisphere. Most British people travel to 'hotter climates' and cope just fine for that reason. Temperature changes are also sudden meaning no chance to acclimate
@Leigh_Romeo Recruitment was excellent, but the parameters of past seasons don't apply today. I've wanted him to turn things around, but have seen little evidence to suggest he can. And yes Howe deserves respect, but comparing us to other clubs who are also unhappy isn't correct.
@Leigh_Romeo No. But one off fixtures and big occasions has (largely) never been our problem under Howe, nor does it tell the full picture (league form is better). You can be grateful for the big moments and achievements, while recognising they weren't sustainable longer term.
@Leigh_Romeo After period of time, absolutely. Fans would be more than reasonable (as they have been with Howe). I also fully reject the idea that this is just one bad year under Howe, I'd argue we've been in decline since 22-23, and have relied on random spurts/runs. Just nature of footie!
