Raising our voices against gender-based violence
โMy Unspoken Playโ is more than a film, it's a call to action. Through this story, we aim to spark conversations, challenge stigma, and stand with survivors.
Fun fact the play was acted exclusively by the STADA staff.
Stay tuned for the official launch and upcoming updates.
Our Executive Director, Patricia Nudi Orawo, will be speaking at the upcoming ICFP Power Shifting in SRHR Webinar Series convened by the International Conference on Family Planning Power Shifting Subcommittee and World Health Organization IBP network.
Patricia will share reflections from the journey of STADA Kenya and what power shifting has looked like in our real-world context as a grassroots, women-led, youth-led organization advancing SRHR, mental health, education, climate justice, and economic empowerment for young mothers and crisis-affected communities.
As global funding landscapes continue to shift, we believe this conversation is more urgent than ever. Communities are not simply recipients of aid or beneficiaries of development. They are leaders, organizers, innovators, and architects of sustainable change.
We look forward to contributing lessons, challenges, successes, and honest reflections on building community-centered systems rooted in dignity, equity, and lived experience.
Thank you to the ICFP community and all partners for creating spaces that continue to push the global SRHR movement toward more locally-led and equitable approaches.

Strengthening learning through collaboration, innovation, and shared impact.
STADA was proud to participate in a three-day Curriculum Validation and Co-Creation Workshop convened by Nakuru Box Innovation Center under the IYBA SEED Program implemented by Impact Gateway Africa with support from SlovakAid.
The workshop brought together diverse stakeholders to review, validate, and co-create inclusive training approaches that respond to evolving community and labor market needs. Through collaborative discussions, peer learning, and knowledge exchange, participants worked on strengthening curriculum frameworks, refining training tools, identifying learning gaps, and developing practical recommendations for sustainable impact.
This engagement reaffirmed the importance of partnerships and community-centered innovation in building resilient and inclusive opportunities for beneficiaries across the innovation and skills development ecosystem.
