Minister in The Presidency, Ms Khumbudzo Ntshavheni will participate in the 28th Meeting of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Ministerial Committee of the Organ (MCO) on Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation. The session will be held in Lilongwe, Malawi, from 15 to 17 July 2026.
The Ministerial Committee of the Organ is one of SADC’s core governance structures responsible for advancing peace, political stability, democratic governance, defence collaboration, public security, and regional solidarity among member states.
The convening offers ministers a significant forum to assess the current political and security environment in the Southern African region, enhance coordinated responses to new and growing challenges, and protect peace, constitutional democracy, and sustainable development.
