On Sept. 24, a force main break discharged about 15,000 gallons of wastewater in the 1600 block of 54th Ave. S. About 1,000 gallons were vacuumed up. The rest flowed into the Anastasia Way S retention pond. The site has been cleaned and sanitized. Repairs are underway.
