McGowan: Trump’s saying you're going to live in squalor with no food and no housing and no law and order. We have that for many people right now. That's why people are voting for democratic socialists, because they want government to look out for them again.
@atrupar The way he mocks DemSocs for advocating for the most popular planks of the platform is hilarious. Basically, "All these really popular proposals? Yeah, we'll just stick to protecting the Epstein Class."
This post is extremely disturbing from Trump or whoever actually wrote it because it’s not him because he just agrees with what they tell him and then they post it.
Good morning and Happy Saturday to everyone who agrees that if the ONLY thing Speaker Johnson is concerned with is running "the protection program" for trump like a wannabe mobster, he should NOT be Speaker of the House.
WORST. SPEAKER. EVER.
Taxpayer money meant for critical National Park repairs is instead funding Trump's redecorating priorities, according to a new report from The Atlantic.
It's time for a national billionaires tax and a new social contract.
10% of Americans own two-thirds of the wealth. Wages have stagnated. The cost of living has skyrocketed.
The system is fundamentally broken.
The federal tax code, a corporate code, and an inheritance code were written for a different set of Americans.
It’s time for an economic reset.

AOC: Mike Johnson paints this as though it’s some partisan witch hunt. But if you don’t want to be prosecuted for crimes, don’t do crimes.
And he’s talking about running a protection racket. And we are already seeing that this Trump administration has run what some have called one of the largest pedophile protection programs in American history.
And so when Mike Johnson tells a group of wealthy donors, I'm the only thing standing between you, and a consequence that should rattle at the conscience of every American.
What he wants to do is create—or rather, not even create, because it’s already been created—but protect a class of impunity in America that says, “You can commit whatever crime, and so long as you pay a check to us, we will protect you.”
And that is a model of extortion in American politics. And you know what? That’s their pitch.
The captain of Iran’s National Team, Mehdi Taremi, calls out FIFA and the U.S.:
“This is a disaster World Cup. We can’t stay in the country and have to travel every time we play without any recovery. Now we can’t stay in Seattle and have to return to Tijuana. This is not fair.”
You really have to admire Antifa’s artistic skill.
With nothing but box cutters, they somehow managed to perfectly recreate the intricate look of poorly applied paint peeling off concrete that had concentrated peroxide dumped all over it.
Incredible craftsmanship.
Mike Johnson ADMITS MAGA cronies are corrupt and there’s reason to investigate them! These guys can’t stop saying the quiet part out loud.
They know we have the power to win the midterms and they are afraid.
Talarico: Every bar has that one guy. He’s loud, he’s obnoxious, he makes all the women in the bar feel uncomfortable. He hears you say your name to the bartender and then adds his drink to your tab when you’re not looking.
That’s Ken Paxton.
And I don’t know about y’all, but I’m done picking up his tab.
Bill Maher to JD Vance: "Here's my deal breaker for your side, okay? Under Trump, you guys have two outcomes an election can be: Either we win, or they cheated. That shit has to stop."
Ansari: I didn’t think I could be shocked by anything he does, but he was literally handed a bipartisan housing bill that would lower costs on a silver platter. It was such an easy win for him at a time when he’s so unpopular because of his cover-up of the Epstein files and this illegal war he screwed up. He could’ve said, “I did this big housing bill,” and because he is so committed to rigging the election, he chose to blow it all up. Their party is a mess. Trump is a joke.
