Just landed and caught up with the result. Looks like I missed a very special performance from our team. Smriti's innings and Deepti Sharma's five-wicket haul will rightly earn plenty of praise, but contributions from Shree Charani, Richa Ghosh, and the rest of the group seem to have made this a truly complete performance. What a great start to the campaign!! 🇮🇳
From the time I started playing cricket, Kane Williamson has been one of the most technically compact and magnificent batters I have seen. Balance, timing, and that trademark calm at the crease came together to make his batting one of the most consistently pleasing sights in world cricket. A thorough gentleman and a true role model for youngsters.
His retirement will probably be received with unexpected relief in more than a few bowling camps. Wishing him luck and success in his next chapter.
Deeply saddened to learn of Shri Jaspal Rana's passing. He served Indian sport with distinction, first through his own remarkable achievements and then through his selfless dedication to developing future champions. Heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.
Sometimes tennis can take a long time to give back what players keep putting in. Good to see Alexander Zverev win his first Grand Slam at Roland-Garros today. Always felt he was a special player!
Credit to Flavio Cobolli for the way he competed today as well. Both players gave everything to the game. 👏
There is something powerful about seeing a community grow while staying deeply connected to the environment around it.
Moments like these are a reminder that the most meaningful progress is the kind that creates hope, preserves what matters, and leaves a better world for the next generation.
Happy World Environment Day! 🌿
Congratulations to @RCBTweets on winning consecutive @IPL titles. One of the challenges in sport is that success changes the questions you have to answer. After winning once, the task is no longer proving you can do it, but proving you can sustain it. RCB met that challenge impressively this season. A well-deserved achievement!
What a fabulous delivery by @krunalpandya24! He watched the batter's feet until the very last moment before releasing the perfect ball to send him back to the dressing room.
There’s a unique helplessness in sport when the mind wants to push forward, but the body has other plans. Felt for Jannik Sinner today because these moments can be deeply painful. Remember, the true measure of a champion is always in the comeback.
But this is also why sport remains so unpredictable and special. Full credit to Juan Manuel Cerundolo for staying composed, believing till the very end, and making the most of his opportunity.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s bat swing has been outstanding. What’s even more remarkable is how beautifully he clears his front foot to create room for balls aimed at his legs. This freedom allows him to play the way he does.
That innings was nothing short of spectacular!
Well done, Arjun. ❤️
Proud of the way you’ve carried yourself through this season, always believing in your ability, staying patient, working hard quietly, and remaining positive despite having to wait for your opportunity till the very last match.
Cricket tests patience as much as skill, and you handled both beautifully today.
Keep your feet on the ground, and continue being in love with the game like you always have.
Love you always.👏
Few things brighten up my morning quite like a cricket ground full of young players ready to play!
The spirit and love for the game are such an important part of what we’re building at SRT10 Altevol Centre of Excellence, helping kids enjoy sports while growing both on and off the field.
અમદાવાદમાં સુંદર સવાર! 👌🏻
Driving through one of the many hidden corners of India, we stopped to check out a ‘car’ that didn’t come from a showroom, but from sheer imagination.
This is the kind of talent that doesn’t wait for perfect conditions, it finds a way to roll anyway. Bas mauka milna chahiye!
Experienced the ‘new car feeling’ in a retrofitted airplane today…Safe to say, I spent more time looking around the cabin than out the window. 😃
Thanks to the @airindia crew for a lovely morning.
It was an absolute honor to welcome Bharat Ratna Shri Sachin Tendulkar ji as the Guest of Honour at the centenary celebrations of Andhra University last evening. A legend who inspired a billion, yet remains the most humble and grounded - Sachin sir’s simplicity and grace leave a lasting impression on everyone he meets. Thank you for gracing this special occasion and making it even more memorable for all of us in Andhra Pradesh. 🙏
