Glimpses of Union Health Minister Shri J.P. Nadda’s review of TB elimination efforts under PM-PRAGATI with MoS Defence Shri Sanjay Seth.

The review focused on strengthening inter-ministerial convergence and advancing a whole-of-government and whole-of-society approach towards the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan.

With coordinated action across sectors, India continues to accelerate its collective efforts towards a TB Mukt Bharat, in line with the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.

Amb Akamatsu signed a USD 142K grant with Dopasi Foundation for Tuberculosis screening in Punjab & Islamabad. Supported by Toyota Tsusho & FUJIFILM, the project will deploy a Land Cruiser equipped with compact X-ray & AI technology to bring screening to about 20K people annually.

Yesterday, chaired the 52nd PRAGATI meeting, during which we reviewed infrastructure works worth over Rs. 30,000 crore. These works will add momentum to economic growth, connectivity and industrial progress. Emphasised the use of PM GatiShakti National Master Plan for timely completion of development works. Other subjects reviewed include TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, grievances related to Cyber Crime and Digital Arrest.
