24 000 people soak up half the capital gains tax benefits. They are also rich & powerful. Right now they are having an almighty meltdown because they have to pay the same tax rate as the rest of us.
@sallymcmanus Honestly, these were the worst years in my career. Had it not been for the fabulous CPSU, we would have lost all the hard fought gains of our predecessors. Work choices was a disgrace.
The actions of @Macquarie_Uni are deplorable. They have also been dragged in front of Fair Work. The @NTEUnion uncovered they decided to go “all the way” in forcing 65 highly skilled ppl out of work when they could have achieved their objectives without this pain
📰BREAKING📰

These failures reveal a wider governance problem made visible thanks to @NTEUNSW members at MQ from the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Science and Engineering who spoke out about the harm of workplace changes to staff mental health and wellbeing.

His response: — “No, no, no they need an eight-day week to lift productivity”.
A reminder: Australians work some of the longest hours in the OECD.
