@davesumnersmith@DefraGovUK Anything that gets the crap being dumped into rivers under control.
Giving privatised companises carte blanche to do what they want hasn't built a single litre of extra capacity and has made our water quality worse.
@alexarmstrong@dave43law If you don't see why a mass of people in one place need police resources in attendence due to the risks inherent to large crowds and the grim spectre of terrorism we live under (lest we forget Manchester Arena), then you're clearly a fool.
@alexarmstrong@dave43law "Private security" do not have the power to police massively attended events. They can't control traffic (pedestrian and vehicle) effectively, they cannot respond to terroristic events, mass disorder and other potential high casualty events like crushes, fires and collapses.
@OldSchoolRS No way they can code, test and push a fix the Potion Storage dupe before lunchtime and if you roll back three hours (or more) going by the time of the reddit post on top of that, I make that at least six hours of time that doesn't count today. Refund today's membership territory?
@TimeLierG@OldSchoolRS Oh look, yet another weirdo who can only talk in buzzwords they picked up from outrage youtubers and can't think for themselves. Touch grass.
@cornwall70001@gareth_snell COVID, Might have heard of it? Did almost as much damage to the UK economy as 14 years of the Tories did?
Kinda changes the economics.
Vice President Harris: Why don't you tell the 800,000 Polish Americans right here in Pennsylvania how quickly you would give up for the sake of favor, and what you think is a friendship with a dictator who would eat you for lunch?
To those saying he just opposes all private member bills, that may be the case.
But he has proposed his own PMBs too.
Like when he proposed that employers should be allowed to pay disabled people less than the national minimum wage.
