I mourn with a heavy heart the killing of my oldest brother by the Israeli army last Tuesday in Gaza. Sayed, my father figure and the backbone of our family left us at the age of 61 years. His kind and loving personality will be a bear witness to the brutality of the occupation.
@prof_melmasri An unimaginable loss, Maher. I will be holding you in my thoughts in these very dark days. May the world soon come to a way forward from this horror.
This was a very powerful ceremony. Deep gratitude to everyone who shared their own stories.
