10 months post-op and I’m back playing the game I love. I can’t even express how amazing it feels but I think my smile says it all.

Today marks 9 months since I had ACL surgery. I have learnt that it’s all about perspective and instead of seeing the last 9 months as a setback, I see it has a reset. I am fitter, stronger, and more excited than ever before to get back playing when our season starts in a month.

5 weeks ago I was told news that no soccer player ever wants to hear. Yesterday I had surgery to fix my completely torn ACL as well as a small meniscus tear they found. The next few days will be full of rest but I’m determined to work hard to come back stronger than ever.
