Watching the 21yo making his own shopping list:
“Don’t worry, I’ll do your shopping for you while I’m staying with you.”
21yo: edits list to add in organic meat and cheese.
Thoughts on parliament so far:
The CITCC looks like a big school assembly. Please can we tack some plastic over the Houses of Parliament?
Did anyone else wonder while watching Melusi Gigaba being sworn in, what level of Candy Crush he is on now?

It’s just happened to me as well. Usual water bill is 649 rand a month. This month? 14000 rand. I’ve taken advice and it’s going to cost more to fight it than just to pay it. I am electric with rage.
I am so sorry. This is where I think we are heading. They can cut it off. Nobody is living in our house. I am sorry Peter. They know who to abuse. It's the shortsighted approach that shocks me. You don't make a municipality successful by breaking rate payers' ability to pay!
I want to do this without dealing with a 16yo’s lost shoe, having to pause to ok a pizza (honey you could order a beehive I wouldn’t care) and where my husbands jacket. No interruptions. I mean it. Don’t even alert me to a fire. It’s winter, I’ll make it work.
I know what I want for Mothers Day. I want to watch a movie from start to finish, including opening and closing credits, all the way down to the key grip, the gaffer and the caterers.
Dear @Eskom_SA please could you come and fix our substation in Rivonia which basically blew up on Saturday? The ref no is: 647192078
We’ve asked the delightful Alfred, the handy chat bot you created, but he is very reticent and apparently no one is coming to fix it. Thanks!
@mudzy_r I am so terribly sorry you went through that. Racism should be at the top of everyone's list, especially white people. If we don't listen, we can't learn. And if we can't learn, we can't repair.
Fun fact, if you want your kids to stop opening the new toothpaste because they can't be arsed to finish the old one, hide the new one behind the new toilet rolls. Ain't no kid or husband going to look for it there.
In the midst of all the gloom, my 14yo told me she is has completed her school project on syphilis complete with pictures and definitions and of all of the 'well done I'm so proud of you' conversations I thought I would ever have, that one never even made the top 100.
