I was delighted to speak at @womensaid annual conference today!
I also loved bumping into the amazing team from @JewishWomensAid on the train there!
Our specialist domestic abuse services are life-saving. Investing in them not only sets victims free, it also helps our economy.
@Jess4Lowestoft@womensaid@JewishWomensAid It was such a pleasure to spend time with you today. Your keynote was so inspiring and we are so lucky to have you as our staunch sister in this work!
Yesterday we met with the Shadow Security Minister @aliciakearns alongside @CST_UK and @antisempolicy to discuss the upcoming state threats legislation and the security of the Jewish community. We also organised important conversations for @JewishWomensAid with @CMcKinnellMP and @emily4MK, also alongside CST and APT, covering a wide range of concerns, including the VAWG agenda.
Proud that 80 leading organisations and leaders across the VAWG sector have signed an open letter led by Jewish Women’s Aid, standing in solidarity with the Jewish community and condemning rising antisemitism.

Privileged to meet with @AlexDaviesJones to discuss progress on Govt’s #VAWG strategy.
We discussed issues facing Jewish women: lack of recognition of coercive control, CJS delays, rising antisemitism & inequitable funding for by-and-for services.
Thanks @JLC_uk for support
This Rosh Hashanah we share Rachel’s story, one of strength and survival. We have a duty to ensure that voices too often silenced can still be heard.
🙏 Thank you to Rachel Gaffin Fidler for lending her voice.

We were pleased to introduce @JewishWomensAid to @RNBlake MP to discuss the vital work they do supporting Jewish women and children affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence
So grateful for a day talking about VAWG, its impact on Jewish women and the work of @JewishWomensAid with a range of MPs equally committed to tackling VAWG. Thanks to @jlc for coordinating. Small added bonus to talk T1 Diabetes with Sarah Brool as well!
We were delighted to organise a full day of meetings between @JewishWomensAid and a range of MPs in Westminster to discuss their vital work supporting Jewish women in addition to the wider issues of education, prevention and improving the judicial system.

Thank you so much for your personal support and that of the @BoardofDeputies - combatting domestic abuse needs the support of the whole community and we are grateful for our partnership with you!
I attended a most interesting and informative, and somewhat sad, event hosted by @JewishWomensAid - Domestic Abuse in the Jewish community Fact or Fiction. Unfortunately it's fact. All abuse needs to be stopped. @BoardofDeputies will always partner and support @JewishWomensAid
