Amazing team work from across the Trust, from the ED admitting team to Neurology to PICU and the Pharmacy team who sorted the supply, prescribing and administration of the drug. There were so many of us tracking the flight from California and the courier driving from Heathrow!

I recently got to watch an aortic valve replacement as part of my cardiothoracic rotation and it was the coolest thing! Seeing a real beating heart with my own eyes was amazing and the surgeon and anaesthetists were so kind to explain what they were doing to me

@dr_dru_ I once told a dr this and they said that I was the best pharmacist they could have had for their 1st rotation and we both got emotional and started crying at the nurses station 😂 the consultant had to tell us to go into the clinical room and cry in case the pts got concerned 😂

@RoshanaMN The ones from korean/asian supermarkets are really nice but I usually order online from mr kimchi they make it freshly delivered to ferment at home and it’s sooo good and reasonably priced

My recent oncall was so wild had to find a random drug from another hospital which took hours, dispensed critical meds, leeches plus the usual missing chart/TPN/tto and advice calls too but luckily no fridges!

I think it traumatised the pharmacist who was shadowing me though..
