My new @MusicWeek column is out now. This month Iโve taken a deep dive into something the music business seems incredibly quiet about โฆAiโs potential for mass software development.
@doriiannv@CrywankBand @painradio @Ssscore22 Ive better things to do thank you ๐ but i know for sure @CrywankBand knows exactly word for word what Iโm saying. but good luck to you all โฆenjoy the internet and your ludicrous trolling ๐ซ ๐
This has nothing to do with the record and you know it.
Well done getting your little publicity moment whilst attempting to fuck over the ONLY organisation in the country saving the venues you wanna play by trying to take down someone who has been saving the scene for decades BY RAISING hundreds of thousands for them when they donโt need to.
I can see right through you ๐
Can I ask who else youโre trolling for the same reason right now mate?
Or is it very specifically just someone going a good thing for @musicvenuetrust youโve issue with?
Guessing the list is quite long given your specific grievances ๐?
Where are the other tweets on that list? ๐๐
Ive been in this business over twenty years (came from grassroots) and find this whole Jay / @CrywankBand narrative self serving and utterly anti the survival of grassroots - just serving Jay , which is what heโs accusing Frank of?
Laughable and sad. And ultimately destructive to the very scene he wants to play.
What a joker.
Thatโs very good of you but in this specific argument i wanna hear how Jay has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds and literally saved venues to justify how he feels the need to spout venom at someone doing just that (and an organisation literally saving the music business ) out of his own twisted jealousy or personal grievance
๐๐ซ right. So your petty personal issues have got you publicly trolling someone (& an organisation who are literally changing legislation to support the venues you wanna play ๐๐ซ ) doing AMAZING things for YEARS for the scene (at all levels including literally saving venues) โฆ got it ๐ and thought as much. IDIOT.
Why the fuck are you and @CrywankBand so cringingly weird about this? Is crywank a patron of MVT? Are you? Have you or him raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for grassroots venues over the years like Frank has or just cashed in where you both could for self publicity? You realise this initiative benefits independent record stores too right as well as MVT venues? And that these things need rules or theyโre pointless? Iโm utterly lost in negative narrative of nonsense.
My look back at the tech trends that dominated the UK music business in 2023 is now available online over on @MusicWeek (previously available in the print edition) inc my controversial bet on @elonmusk !

As you watch your childโs nativity this year and sing songs of Bethlehem may you be reminded of the current atrocities taking place throughout Palestine โฆ.
The 6000+ innocent children who have been killed indiscriminately
The tens of thousands injured, without homes, food or water currently trapped in the Gaza Strip โฆ
โฆand the countless innocent children born into the rubble.
