#Innovation led large-scale #education transformation program impacting over 1 crore #children at less than $1 per child per annum I Founded by @vineetnayar
Back to school is about more than bags and books.
It's about giving every child the tools to learn with confidence, explore with curiosity, and dream without limits.
From mathematics and language to science and discovery, we're helping classrooms become spaces where learning comes alive.
Here's wishing every child a joyful return to the classroom and a wonderful year of learning ahead.

What if the most important question in the age of AI isn't what machines can do, but what humans can become?
Here at Sampark Foundation, we believe that's a conversation worth having.
That's why we're excited for Humans First, Machines Second: 30 Sparks to Reimagine Winning in the Age of AI, a book that explores what it means to stay human, keep learning, and thrive in a rapidly changing world.

I didn't write a book for almost fifteen years.
Partly because I wasn't sure I had anything new to say.
Partly because I wasn't sure I had the courage to write another one.
Then I started hearing a question everywhere.
Will people still matter in the age of AI?
HUMANS FIRST, MACHINES SECOND – 30 SPARKS TO REIMAGINE WINNING IN THE AGE OF AI is my attempt to answer this question.
I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I’ve enjoyed writing it.

Every day at Sampark Foundation, we work toward a simple belief: technology is most powerful when it helps people learn, grow, and thrive.
That same belief runs through Humans First, Machines Second: 30 Sparks to Reimagine Winning in the Age of AI.
As AI reshapes our world, this book reminds us that our greatest advantage will not be technology alone, but curiosity, empathy, courage, and the ability to keep learning.
We look forward to a book that will make the future feel less intimidating and more human.
Three years.
Twenty-one drafts.
Countless rewrites.
More self-doubt than I care to admit.
Today, I finally get to share it with you.
HUMANS FIRST, MACHINES SECOND: 30 SPARKS TO REIMAGINE WINNING IN THE AGE OF AI
My job was simply to put an idea into the world.
What happens to it next is no longer in my hands.

What creates meaningful change in a classroom?
A teacher who feels empowered, children who participate with confidence, and learning experiences that stay with them long after the lesson ends.
At Sampark Foundation, this belief continues to guide our work across government schools through the right pedagogy (Sahi Kram, Sahi Dhang) and technology designed to strengthen classroom learning.
We are pleased to take this journey forward in more schools of Chhattisgarh with ECGC @ecgclimited joining hands with us to support the transformation of 110 government classrooms across 55 schools into smart classrooms.
Through this partnership, we hope to make quality learning more accessible while helping children build a stronger foundation for the future.
What helps a child learn better?
A classroom that inspires curiosity, a teacher equipped with the right tools, and learning experiences that make concepts come alive.
At Sampark Foundation, this belief drives our work across government schools, where the focus is not just on access to education, but on improving learning outcomes through the right pedagogy (Sahi Kram, Sahi Dhang) and technology-enabled learning.
We are now taking this mission forward with @Oracle, joining hands with us to strengthen learning across 371 government schools in Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Chhattisgarh, reaching over 20,000 children with better classroom experiences and opportunities to learn.
Through this partnership, we look forward to making quality learning more accessible while helping children build a stronger foundation for the future.

Today, we, the Sampark family, have lost one of our brightest sparks.
Yogendra Dadhich, our Rajasthan state head and an irreplaceable guide who brought warmth, laughter, and an unwavering dedication every single day, is no more.
He leaves behind a grieving family, countless friends, and lakhs of children and teachers whose lives are forever transformed because he chose to dedicate his life to a cause far larger than himself.
His assuring words, humility, and deep commitment to the field will always live on.
We extend our deepest, most heartfelt sympathies to Yogendra’s family and loved ones. His passing is an irreparable loss to us all, and we pledge to honour his memory and carry forward his legacy in all that we do.
Once a Spark, always a Spark.
You will be deeply missed, Yogendra ji.
Om shanti.🙏
A child who was once afraid to speak… raises a hand in class.
A teacher discovers a new way to make learning come alive.
A parent quietly smiles while listening to their child proudly share what they learned at school that day.
This is how change begins. Quietly. One small victory at a time.
Through #ONGC’s #CSR partnership with @Samparkorg Foundation, thousands of such moments are unfolding across classrooms in Jharkhand and Uttarakhand, helping make learning joyful, engaging, and full of possibility for over 6,00,000 children across nearly 7,400 schools in the last two years.
Because every child deserves the confidence to ask, learn, dream, and believe in a brighter tomorrow.

20 years ago, Sampark Foundation began with a vision that every child deserves the opportunity to learn better.
What followed was not just a journey of scale, but a journey that belongs to the people associated with us. Teachers who chose to believe. Government partners who stood beside us. Teams who worked tirelessly on the ground. Partners who trusted the mission. And millions of children whose smiles continue to inspire everything we do.
Today, as we celebrate 20 Years of Learning Magic, we look back with gratitude and ahead with even greater purpose.
Because the dream was never just to reach classrooms. The dream was to transform them.
Here’s to 20 years of impact, innovation, and belief.
And to every hand that became part of this Badlaav journey.

As Sampark Foundation celebrates 20 years of Learning Magic, we are proud to announce that we have been honoured with two prestigious recognitions at the Global CSR & ESG Awards 2026 — Excellence in Pedagogical Adoption & Classroom Impact and Transformative Innovation in Education.
These recognitions reflect two decades of unwavering commitment towards strengthening government school classrooms, empowering teachers and improving learning outcomes for children across India. What began 20 years ago as a belief that every child deserves quality education has today reached over 2 crore children across 8 states through frugal, scalable and system-driven innovation.
As we celebrate this milestone, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to every individual and institution that has been part of this journey of reaching every child with quality learning. To our SPARKS, who work tirelessly across classrooms and communities; to the government officials and education departments who have continuously supported and strengthened this mission and to our partners who placed their trust in us and chose to walk alongside us.
As we mark 20 years of Sampark Foundation, we were proud to be the Title Partner at the Brand Honchos Global CSR & ESG Awards 2026.
The event brought together leaders from industry, CSR, and the social sector to reflect on what it takes to create measurable and sustainable impact. Through two thoughtful panel discussions on CSR outcomes and education as a boardroom priority, the conversations reinforced an important belief lasting change is built when intent, accountability, and collaboration come together.
Our Founder, Mr. Vineet Nayar, @vineetnayar shared the inspiration behind Sampark, the role of AI in shaping the future of education, and the importance of keeping purpose alive in the pursuit of meaningful change.
Our President, Dr. K. Rajeswara Rao, IAS Rao, spoke about Sampark Foundation’s journey of scaling frugal innovation and reaching over 2 crore children across 8 states.
This milestone was not just about celebrating 20 years.
It was about reaffirming one enduring mission to make quality learning accessible to every child.

“Can AI teach children better?”
Maybe we are asking the wrong question.
The real question is:
Can technology strengthen the belief, confidence, and curiosity a child needs to learn?
At Sampark Foundation, our work across 4.5+ lakh government school classrooms has reinforced that technology alone rarely changes learning outcomes. Meaningful impact happens when technology is thoughtfully integrated with strong pedagogy and teachers are empowered to make classrooms more engaging, adaptive and effective for every child.
A screen can deliver content.
A teacher can change the direction of a child’s life.
As conversations around AI in education grow louder, this article by our Founder, Vineet Nayar, @vineetnayar raises an important reminder: the future of education cannot be AI-first. It must remain human-first.

We thank @ONGC_ for their valuable partnership, where we have been able to touch the lives of more than 6.5 lakhs children across 7,000+ schools in Uttarakhand & Jharkhand.
Empowering classrooms. Enabling futures.
In recognition of its commitment to strengthening quality education, #ONGC was conferred the Visionary Leadership Award by Sampark Foundation in Delhi on 8 May 2026 for impacting 7,500 government schools across Uttarakhand and Jharkhand.
Through smart classrooms and digital learning initiatives, ONGC is helping create inclusive, technology-enabled learning environments that equip young minds with knowledge, confidence, and opportunities for a brighter tomorrow.
Because nation-building begins in the classroom, where every child empowered today becomes the energy of India’s future.

What does real change in a classroom look like?
A teacher who feels confident, a child who feels included and a lesson that truly stays.
At Sampark, this belief shapes our work across government schools in Maharashtra, where the focus is not just on access but on improving learning outcomes through the right pedagogy (Sahi Kram, Sahi Dhang) along with Sampark AI.
We are now taking this mission forward with Trafigura @trafigura, joining hands withus totransform 600 classrooms across Palghar and Nashik into smart classrooms, reaching over 26,000 children across 300 schools.
Through this partnership, we are reminded that progress can be achieved faster when more people come together.
What happens when learning moves beyond textbooks and becomes an experience?
We were delighted to host the @Citi Employee Volunteering Program at Kala Killa BMC Marathi School No. 2, Dharavi, Mumbai, where 25 enthusiastic Citi volunteers spent a meaningful day engaging with students.
Using specially designed Sampark Employee Volunteering Maths Games, the volunteers helped children explore addition, subtraction, and multiplication through fun, interactive activities. The classroom quickly transformed into a lively space where mathematics was discovered through play, curiosity, and collaboration.
What makes Citi’s engagement truly special is the team’s consistent enthusiasm for volunteering. Beyond supporting CSR initiatives, Citi employees bring their own passion and commitment to contribute towards improving learning outcomes for children studying in government schools.
Together, moments like these remind us that when communities come together, learning becomes joyful, meaningful, and impactful.
