Played a local tournament over the weekend and split 7 boxes of @playriftbound Unleashed in the finals!

Promo Aspirant's arrived last week so I just had to play the slower Irelia list 😅

Figured I'd share since I have no RQs lined up for Set 3 (missed all China ballots 😭)

Yep definitely bring them in against those, and also against Azir too.

I think this version is better against Azir since we're running 3x Adapt + MS. Goal of the deck is to slow things down, whereas Rico list has to race and I don't like racing against Azir as Irelia

I like it more than normal Irelia as I feel like I cover more bases with this version. The normal Irelia performs better into LeBlanc and Auroras since it's faster, but this version allows me to defend battlefields better and be less reliant on Irelia herself. I'm also less susceptible to gear hate with this imo

@Mrtoolshed_ I love having the Baron option, but yes the deck is indeed built to be able to support Baron.

You also have to adjust the way you play accordingly - I was running the standard Rico list for a previous tournament and it took me some time to acclimatize back tbh

Finished 76th place at @playriftbound #RQSydney with a 9-4 scoreline and at least secured my Vex playmat 😍

Definitely could've done better, but I'm still pretty satisfied with my 1st showing 😌

Went with a more control-oriented version of Irelia, video guide when I'm home 😉
