Joined a panel of incredibly brilliant researchers in Berlin to discuss how Africa has become a contest ground for global powers.
In a rapidly changing world, it is more important than ever for Africa to assert its agency
Thank you @tazgezwitscher !
From 6.45am to 4.50pm!
This makes no sense at all! We have many airlines in Nigeria and hardly would you see one that won't delay.
It's now like a norm and authorities just keep moving like everything is fine.
This is so bad.
My day has been disrupted.
We cannot continue to excuse and ignore the irresponsibility and crass impunity of @flyairpeace in this country.
Mr Allen Onyema possibly believes that because he has the largest fleet of aircraft, and his company occasionally intervenes in the repatriation of stranded Nigerians aboard, that gives him the latitude to take passengers for granted endlessly.
I am scheduled to appear in court in Enugu State this morning for a case that is slated for definite hearing.
I woke up by 4:30 AM and got to MM1 at about 5:50AM hoping to join the 6:45 AM flight with Air Peace. I already checked in last night.
I became suspicious when Air Peace called for only passengers who were supposed to fly to Enugu and Owerri yesterday, while passengers scheduled to depart today were asked to wait.
Apparently, they cancelled yesterday’s flight to Enugu.
Air Peace kept us on the line for about an hour before their staff came and casually told us that the flight has been delayed till 4:50 PM.
At 2:01 AM today, Air Peace sent a second reminder to passengers, despite knowing that the flight was not going to depart as scheduled.
It is sickening that this airline has persisted in its poor service delivery despite routine complaints by passengers.
The regulators of the aviation industry are complicit in the impunity of Air Peace.
The Minister of Aviation, @fkeyamo, has been doing PR for this airline instead of holding them accountable.
@NigeriaCAA and @FAAN_Official have demonstrated that they’re incapable of tackling the arrogance of this airline.
My client’s fate is now uncertain because of the irresponsibility of Air Peace. I met two learned colleagues who were equally billed to travel on the same flight. One of them also has a hearing this morning in Enugu.
Unfortunately , the two other airlines that fly to Enugu from Lagos (United Nigeria and Enugu Air) only have afternoon flights today.
I lost sound sleep, wasted my resources on flights and taxis (by the way, I already booked my return flight with United Nigeria slated for 3:20 PM today), and I am going to miss a sensitive court appearance.
Official data published few ago by NCAA revealed that Air Peace delayed 71% of its flights in August 2026.
According to NCAA, Air Peace recorded 1,330 delays out of 1,864 flights, representing about 71 percent.
No sanctions were imposed.
No country that is serious about economic development will condone such ineptitude.
ADC people are having their first reality shock about Amaechi. They are finding out that the influence of that nigga did not even pass Ubima not to talk of Ikwerre. 😂
Wike came to Amaechi's hometown on his mother's burial day, shutdown the whole street and even blocked one lane.
Atiku had to endure the traffic and delay. 😥
It's obvious that Amaechi is never recovering from that 2015 betrayal of GEJ.
It seems Sir J never had land to check in Apo wasa, Apo primary, Apo dutse , Kabusa, peace village, Tudun wada, many angwa, --- in Abuja?
Drove through Chika axis last week and my car engine cover nearly spoil over this kind of roads.
Is there anywhere in Abuja (Nigeria's capital city) or Lagos (economic hub) that is as bad as this? Not one street. But an entire area.
Not talking suburbs of Lagos (eg Ogun borders) or Abuja (Nasarawa/Niger).
Ife, this was not what we reported and you know it. We have published this report since Feb, months before the Oyo students were kidnapped.
The system is bad, yes, but this makes no absolute sense when you try to loop us into your agenda.

One of the teachers already said the kidnappers freed them and not that the soldiers rescued them.
Now, AFP is reporting that Tinubu paid kidnappers billions to rescue the Oyo victims.
Supporters of APC, is this how you much you hate this country?
Ire o✌🏾
In a hotel room in northeast Nigeria, I opened a leading AI chatbot, turned my laptop toward a former Boko Haram commander, and asked if he'd used it. He nodded.
"You type in the question… like 'How can I build a bomb?', and then it tells you how. It is like a human robot. We used it a lot."
My new study on how the jihadist terrorist group Boko Haram uses frontier AI with @CamAISciPolicy, covered today in @nytimes 🧵/9
This is exactly my question.
You call him names, arrested him but the same agency is allocated billions in the 20206 budget?
Make it make sense please.
The Tinubu Administration wants Nigerians to believe that a “CON ARTIST” somehow forged a letter to appoint himself the DG of a “non existent” agency. This same guy somehow secured an office on the 2nd floor of the Federal Secretariat Complex hosting meetings with both foreigners and Nigerian citizens in the same building.
This “con man” successfully opened 9 bank accounts in the names of his “fictitious” agencies including accounts in the CBN, misled the Accountant-General office and somehow snuck the budget of his “non existent” agency into the budget of the presidency.
Guess what, this con man managed to deceive Sen. Adeola Olamilekan Yayi and Hon. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar’s Appropriations committees to appropriate over N1.3 billion to his fictitious agency. Mind you, this agency did not appear in the 2023, 2024, and even the 2025 but these seasoned lawmakers could not flag the sudden inclusion of this “non existent” agency and pushed it to the larger house for passage.
This is where things gets even trickier, Bayo Onanuga says the great con artists, Prince Adeniyi was arrested on 27th October 2025, after a petition by The Chief of Staff, on October 17, 2025, asking the DSS and the Police to probe the activities of ‘fraudsters and imposters’ forging appointment letters purportedly from his office.
This means that the presidency was aware of the Con man and his fake agency as far back as Oct. 2025. So how on earth did his “non existent” agency appear in the budget that the President presented to the joint house in Dec. 2025 and was subsequently signed into law in April 2026.
After all of this, the Tinubu administration wants Nigerians to believe this man, Prince Adeniyi acted alone. A con man so connected he got a Police orderly.
At this point I think The Tinubu Government might think Nigerians as f**ls.
@the_beardedsina So, the Jinja thing is a pyramid business. If you check well, it's more of GNLD. This is why you see them pushing because they earn and do beyond selling of drugs.
I spent time in Lagos markets where cornflakes, milk, and oats are sold from buckets and nylon bags with no labels and expiry dates.
I discovered during the investigation that many come from expired or rejected factory stocks, quietly resold to unsuspecting buyers.
Transliteration from video
"My name is Tijjani, I am 15 yrs old, I was arrested today Sunday 12 April 2026 at NGAMDU Borno State. I was among the terrorists that attacked BENISHEIK and NGAMDU on Thursday. Before the attack we came from Jilli and returned there after the attack. I was sent from Jilli yesterday with 850,000 naira to collect some logistics from NGAMDU but I was arrested by troops. Yesterday Saturday I left other fighters my colleagues at Jilli, I don't know what happened to them there".
This reminds me of someone who I acted as a landlord to for good 3 years without knowing he a DSS officer.
If not for the person that told me, I would have doubted it.
Years ago, while I was serving in Edo State, the DSS carried out an operation to arrest some kidnappers. It felt like a scene from a movie, swift, precise, and flawlessly executed. What surprised me most was learning that the suspects had been under surveillance for an entire year before the arrest.
Interestingly, one of the DSS operatives was someone I casually greeted and occasionally met at a bar to chat and gist. I had no idea he was involved in such high-level intelligence work. Their tactical coordination and professionalism were truly impressive top-notch.
