This is insane.
The top 0.00001% (just 20 people) now control nearly $4 trillion. That’s roughly equal to the entire wealth of the bottom 50% of America COMBINED.
The ultrawealthy are pulling away from everyone, including other rich Americans.
The top 0.1% have more than doubled their wealth since 2019, per WSJ
They've gained $14.5 trillion, $10 trillion of it from stocks.
The top 0.1% now control $28 trillion, 15% of all US wealth.
Elizabeth Warren spent years warning us about crypto while the banks were doing exactly what she warned us about.
Just look at the numbers, the scale of illicit finance inside the US banking system makes crypto look tame by comparison 👇
HSBC
Fined $1.92B in 2012. Internal AML controls were practically nonexistent, laundering at least $881M for drug cartels and handling extensive transactions for sanctioned nations.
Standard Chartered
Fined over $2B between 2012 and 2019. Repeatedly cleared transactions for sanctioned jurisdictions and intentionally stripped transaction codes to evade filters, dragging out remediation for nearly a decade.
TD Bank
Hit with a massive $3B fine in 2024. Deliberately excluded $18.3T in transaction volume from monitoring, facilitating over $670M in illicit transfers with employees taking bribes to look the other way.
Bank of America
Fined over $1.21B in October 2026. Chronic monitoring failures left more than $5B in suspicious activity unreported, tied directly to cross border and trade based money laundering networks.
How ridiculous. Banking is the only industry where you can break laws, pay the fines, and keep on banking.
Something deeply unsettling is happening right now.
This isn't the S&P 500 priced in dollars, this is the S&P 500 divided by the M2 money supply. Two of the biggest bubbles in history just topped at the exact same zone:
Dotcom 2000
AI Bubble 2026
They are almost identical: the same chart structure, the same sector, the same speculative mania.
I honestly don't get how anyone can look at this and stay calm.
You already know how the dotcom bubble played out.
Do you really think this time will be different?
Why do people keep panic-selling their BTC over the exact same fear, year after year?
2019: “Quantum supremacy will completely overturn Bitcoin”
2021: “Quantum computing will completely defeat Bitcoin”
2022: “Imminent quantum attacks threaten the entire crypto space”
2024: “Google Willow will trigger an existential panic for Bitcoin”
2025: “Existential crisis! Billions in Bitcoin at risk of going to zero”
2026: “Quantum doom sweeps the crypto market once again”
If you had invested $10,000 back in 2019 and simply held, it would be worth $200,000 today.
Star projects like Blast and Abstract are officially pulling the plug, while rumors spread around dying L2s like Mode, Zircuit, and even major chains like Aptos.
Meanwhile, institutions keep pumping billions into BTC via ETFs.
Why this extreme divergence?
The Nth Room ran it like a pay-per-view snuff cinema.
Phishing rings treat it as a playground with zero consequences.
Cartels and scam hubs use it as customer support.
State-sponsored hackers rely on it to launder billions.
Ban these user bases, and Telegram might as well file for bankruptcy tomorrow.
1/ How I infiltrated a Chinese organized crime syndicate that has laundered $1B+ across multiple exploits for Lazarus Group.
Posing as a client, I gathered intel that helped action freezes for the Feb 2025 Bybit exploit and attribute illicit activity onchain.
When an investor holds a crypto asset for less than 7 days, 90% of them are in the red.
When an investor holds a crypto asset for more than 3 months, 70% of them are in profit.
When an investor holds a crypto asset for more than 3 years, over 90% of them are profitable.
At that point, even the market makers are afraid of them.
How long have you been holding your crypto investments?
