TSU: “Nashville Metro Police are investigating a shooting at 27th and Jefferson near the House of Legends and Jefferson Street Baptist Missionary Baptist Church. Police say the suspect remains at large and everyone should use caution if traveling in the area.”
BREAKING: Multiple victims have been injured following a shooting on Jefferson St & 27th Ave N. The scene is secure. All victims are at area hospitals.

This is terrifying.
Emergency crews attempted to evacuate people by ambulance and boats, but the water began rising way too quickly and and is moving too rapidly to extract people safely, forcing them up on the roof.
The National Guard is deploying to assist. Pray for these people.

The suspect in today’s shooting has been identified as John C. Drake, Jr., 38. Attached is a photo of the suspect at the scene. Shelter in place is still active. Avoid the area and report anything suspicious.
