Sex Ed Sunday: It’s a common misconception that you can only get sexually transmitted infections (STIs) from sexual intercourse and oral sex.

Certain STIs including herpes, HPV, gonorrhoea and syphilis can be transmitted through kissing, but there are ways to reduce your risk. You cannot get chlamydia, Hepatitis, HIV or trichomoniasis from kissing.
