@EvansRankings Does your computer know how many points and rebounds are graduating from each team or is it just based on percentage of returning players?
@EvansRankings Also as a fan I’m probably not going to a quarterfinal game on a Monday or Tuesday. I’d be waiting to go to Seattle for the semifinals and finals. Right now I can go to Yakima for the quarters, semis, and finals and its only a couple work days and two nights in a hotel
@EvansRankings I like picking the teams with auto bids for district champs and a committee picks the rest. Hiwever at state you would have up to 5 nights in a hotel plus meals for teams, cheerleaders, and the band. That would be way more expensive for athletic budgets with the added days
@Mariners It’s going to be hard to be happy as long as Stanton is running this team like a business. Please do something to make this team better, the window isn’t going to last forever with our cost controlled pitching.
@LIVESounders The MLS has already pushed me away by going to Apple TV. This is the only way I followed the games last year. I’ve gone from attending a couple games per year and watching most on TV to only watching a few free ones last year and feeling much less connection to the team.
@EvansRankings Unless the RPI can differentiate between classifications it won’t be accurate. You would get more credit for beating a 1B team that is 15-5 than beating a 4A team that is 14-6. In almost every case that 4A team is way better.
@kevinschultz15 You could make the argument that the second and third best teams in 1A girls have a combined 16 losses. All of those losses are to bigger schools and Nooksack.
@EvansRankings Curious about Kings and Lynden Chr in 1A girls. Both have a bunch of losses to teams from bigger schools. Seems like they should probably be seeded 4 & 5, but you have LC #7. Realistically I think they are the only 2 1A teams that have a small chance against Nooksack.
Never seems like a long time ago. Why aren’t we going all in with all of our young, cost controlled pitching? It may be our only chance in the foreseeable future. Julio, Raleigh, Gilbert, and Kirby aren’t going to be cheap in a couple of years.

@BrockHuard Did you consider 9-8 to be good or bad? This is a .500 team on talent and coaching, so you could say they overachieved with 9 wins. I would love for Woolen and Witherspoon to just play one-on-one outside without help and let everyone else stop the run.
@TheMikeSalk Did you read @JeffPassan article? We don’t have the money for Ohtani (even though there should be plenty left from low payrolls in ‘21 and ‘22) and aren’t willing to trade major league pitching for Soto. We are doomed to be a 85 win team, not good enough to make the playoffs
@EvansRankings How would you rank these teams now after the first week of state? My rank: 1. Royal 2. Nooksack 3. Cashmere 4. Lynden Christian 5. Lakeside
I know this doesn’t match up to head to head results, but this is what I saw this weekend.
