@GreenBhoy1967@andrewgmorton Don't you want to know WTF the SNP were up to with independence supporters money? What do they have to hide? We're further away from independence now than in 2014 because they just want power but do nothing with it. I want people in govt who don't cover up bad stuff, don't you?
Good grief. ''Lectures promoting gc views are simply not acceptable...''. This is a series of lectures on a book discussing interpretations of the law. What next?Struggle sessions for Dr. Foran?
Lectures promoting gender critical views are simply not acceptable and the students have spoken with their feet. Now the University leadership should review the position of this associate professor to see if his lectures fit the syllabus.
@joannaccherry Weโre witnessing a very peculiar moment in SNP history now, where supporters are disappearing in the hope no-one remembers their fanaticism and high profile figures are trying to rewrite their positions from being Sturgeonite attack dogs to concerned commentators. It wonโt wash.
What a pity she didnโt have the courage to speak out at the time. But then of course there would have been consequences as those of us who did are only too well aware.
@patrabbit120369@WingsScotland Does it not occur to you that sometimes people of differing opinions in one area agree in their thinking in another? And that maybe the current SNP could be the problem and that is why so many of their long term membership left both the party and stopped supporting them?
This was nearly over before I pressed the button. Adult Kingfisher is feeding a wee fish to newly-fledged junior 1 (with back to camera), then junior 2 arrives, and then all three exit to left of frame. On the River Kelvin in Glasgow this afternoon.
I am naรฏve enough to imagine that people at Yes Scotland would have been entirely focussed on getting a Yes vote rather than kvetching about their pay.
I mean, lots of people gave up a lot of their time entirely for free.
Mr Greer really is McSteerpike.
While thousands of us were giving freely of our time, energy & money to the campaign, there were those handsomely rewarded in YES HQ.๐คจ
Were the books opened & audited or was Murrell playing fast & loose with our cash?
I have made the decision to cancel the remaining lectures in the series as I cannot guarantee for attendees, including students, that further disruption wonโt occur.
Last summer I raised the proposition of two changes to FOI law.
One was the extension of FOI law to political parties in relation to the murky world of candidate selection, policy influence and to funding- all of which there are clear public interest cases for. (1/x)
@ProfPMiddleton At some point it's going to dawn on you that the SNP are not serious about independence, they have morphed into the Scottish[sic] Labour Party they replaced in 2007. This only happened when Sturgeon Took over. FWIW the 'ALBAnistas' saw it first. Own it.
