@millennialwit @ShitChester I personally have never been harassed and abused in there in 20 years. But then again never use it late at night. Would never choose to walk through ANY underpass late at night and wouldn’t expect a crossing to be put in for this eventuality to the detriment of traffic.

@Go_CheshireWest As a pedestrian and driver resident of Chester for 20 years have absolutely no issue with using the underpass. Never once have I thought “I wish there was a crossing instead of this underpass.”
As a driver, no more near misses with people on the roundabout in wrong lanes.

@ScouseRepublic I couldn’t sleep last night for worrying about the victims. So so happy that today those injured are recovering, although sure there will be mental and physical injuries to heal for a long time. ❤️
