🔹On @PakTVGlobal show Unfold, @ArmughanFareeha (Head Center of Evidence Action Research, SDPI) analyses the FY2026-27 budget. While it aligns with the IMF for stabilization, she notes critical adjustments for the salaried class:

🔸Tax slabs for 5.2M–7.2M income bracket reduced to 32%.
🔸Prior slabs reduced down to 25%.
🔸A 7% increase in government salaries and pensions.

🔹She warns that regressive petroleum levies burden all consumers and urges a shift from a stabilization budget to a growth budget by expanding manufacturing and enforcing agricultural income tax.

🔹Sales tax on wholesale & retail building materials cut by half to spur the construction sector.

Dr. @Abidsuleri 4D analysis of Pakistan's Budget FY2026-27 tells a stark story:

💰 Revenue: Rs11.8 trillion
📈 Debt servicing: Rs8.1 trillion
🛡️ Defence: Rs3.0 trillion
🏛️ Running government: Rs2.7 trillion
🤝 Grants & subsidies: Rs3.8 trillion

Result? Nearly 69% of net federal revenue goes to interest payments alone, while Pakistan still needs to borrow Rs7 trillion to finance the budget gap.
