Happy World Turtle Day! Sea turtles have been navigating oceans for 100 million+ years, making them the oldest marine reptiles with living descendants. Despite their longevity, all seven species of sea turtle face severe threats, making it incredibly important to protect them.
It's International Day for Biological Diversity, a day to reflect on the importance of biodiverse ecosystems like coral reefs. Reefs sustain 25%+ of all marine species despite covering less than 1% of the ocean floor, making them the most biodiverse aquatic ecosystems on Earth.
