In today's #CITESCoP19 Com I evening session, @CITES - at long last - adopts a resolution on #marineturtles to guide the Convention's long term work & strategy on these App1 taxa. Congrats to @USFWSIntl for proposing & everyone involved over the last years to make this happen.

Now @NakamuraJulia presents an exciting new platform #CITESLEX to be developed jointly between @FAOfish & @CITES. @seashepherdlaw has heavily made use of @FAO Legal's #FAOLEX for legal analyses & agree this will be a useful tool to share experiences & even support LAFs & IFS.
