Congratulations to Sean Elliott, MD, on his election to the American Association of Genitourinary Surgeons (AAGUS), one of urology’s most prestigious, invitation-only societies. A well-deserved recognition of his leadership in reconstructive surgery and innovative patient care.
Thank you for a great @SocietyGURS conference last week. Here is a 3-minute version of one of the short video clips I showed in my "Diversion Revision" talk. Robotic Conduit Replacement without Reimplanting the Ureters https://t.co/XrhrkIyE8K via @YouTube
An easy to understand video explaining to patients and caregivers the difference between suprapubic tube and Mitrofanoff. https://t.co/4sl6ycQBe9 @SocietyGURS
@abalajontoto@SocietyGURS@ISORU1 Because he has had APR, this is a fistula to a cavity where his rectum used to be, right? Can do buccal+gracilis. Cystectomy as a salvage operation if that doesn’t work.
https://t.co/TcAZ5BXlBS A simple, inexpensive (free!), and empowering way for people to manage their #mitrofanoff stenosis/scarring. @societygurs@sufuorg
Just finished fixing this fistula from Indiana Pouch to urethra in man with h/o XRT. Small pubectomy, difficult dissection off rectum, primary closure of pouch hole; good omental flap. No reason to throw out a good pouch and convert to a conduit.
10 min video explaining my algorithm for non-continent diversion in people with short ureters or radiation enteritis. T-colon is great but learn how to modify an ileal conduit to meet your needs. https://t.co/mNCB0vlhJy
