In reality, @UCFKnights are ahead of the curve with these coming changes with the House Settlement likely taking effect next year. UCF is rolling the services provided by @KingdomNIL into the @ChargeOnFund to give them even more resources to stay competitive in this new world.
@ESPNFANSUPPORT Can't you guys get in there and make a little swaperoo for us? This is our first year with auction, we are used to free agency after waiver periods.
Cap Enforcement
- Court oversight/audits
- Athlete reporting mechanism of 3rd party NIL
- Must be “true NIL” based on developed “fair market value” data
- Enforced thru NCAA/outside entity w/Court backing
- Burden on school/athlete to prove “true NIL"
- No pay-4-play/booster pay
The NCAA Board of Governors has approved the House Settlement, paving the way for private equity's entry into college sports. Monitoring revenue sharing and NIL payments to athletes will be crucial as PE firms scrutinize the profit and loss details closely
