@Charlesontwiita@OleTimeHardball@BigLeagueDigest You contradict yourself in that statement. If he’s never won a GG then how is his WAR over inflated? If he’s not that great of a defender, but he’s still got almost 90 career WAR that’s just a testimate to how incredible he’s been at the plate his entire career.
@uscfan981 Not sure who the dude next to Patty is, pretty sure that’s a mix of Gary Payton and Emmitt Smith. Regardless though, literally any of them. Brady is top 2 and not number 2 so 🤷♂️.
@Paulo_The_Hobby@STL_Stats_Facts Since he has more range than Noot. I simply disagree that a starting outfield with Noot isn’t a good outfield. Hes an average to slightly above average defender, his on base skills are better than average when he’s fully healthy, and he’s a great teammate. Have a nice night
@Paulo_The_Hobby@STL_Stats_Facts Noot is a proven (albeit average) defender in the MLB, Church hasalways been a project in the field. Neither of them have ever been or will ever be stellar defenders. I never disparaged Church. Again, with the fact that he IS slightly faster than Noot, I’d rather him take over CF
@Paulo_The_Hobby@STL_Stats_Facts ? Because Church had an incredible game today? I was never knocking the dude. I think he or Noot should move to center and VS2 should be relegated to a defensive replacement. Church having an awesome day doesn’t ruin my excitement to see Noot back lol
@Paulo_The_Hobby@STL_Stats_Facts Noot is an on base merchant though, if he’s able to get on at an elite level like he did in ‘23 and the guys behind him can drive him in, that’s added value. Plus his glove is better than Church, Fermin, or Saggese in LF. I’m excited about Noot being back.
@STL_Stats_Facts Will now say “oh Chaim, look what happened we fielded a competitive team after selling our assets and aging players, there’s no need to spend!”
@STL_Stats_Facts I maintained from the beginning that this team wasn’t going to be as bad as everyone was expecting. I figured they’d finish at around .500 this year and not the 60ish wins some people were projecting. But I’m damn sure excited about the future!! My ONLY concern is that ownership
@yadifan04@StlMac_@DanClarkSports Look, I get it. I agree with the dude that Albert should be higher, and I also agree that Shohei should be lower, and as much as I hate the Dodgers, Shohei is the greatest baseball player easily in the last 50-100 years. And he WILL end up at number 1 on this list.
@CardinalSTLMuse Pitching… the offense has played their hearts out to start the season, games that have been played close (take game 3 of the astros series) shouldn’t have been as close as they were. The pen needs to stop giving up late runs, and the starters need to be better plain and simple.
