Retired Search Dog Millie

Retired Lowland Rescue air-scenting area search dog. Dad & I assisted Police Forces to find vulnerable missing people. Fuelled by @symplypet

[Search Dogs Sussex @SDSussex]

Rarely you see a dog and handler combination as close as Holly and Ivy. Today they passed their @LowlandRescue national assessment and became the UKs newest search dog team. This has taken years of hard work. Please join us in congratulating them! 🐾🦺🙌

The day has come. Dad and I had our last callout together last week. It was a hard decision for Dad to make but I am looking forward to putting my paws up.

Every two years our qualified teams need to requalify with Lowland Rescue. Today handlers Mel and Search Dog Shanti did just that. It takes a huge amount of dedication not just to achieve this level but maintaining. We are lucky in Sussex to have 6 qualified search dogs.

@kathy_farnboro Thank you Kathy. ❤️

@BlueLights999uk @facebook @LowlandRescue You don’t realise how much history and memories are on there 😞

[Retired Search Dog Millie @searchdogmillie]

Dad had his @facebook account disabled overnight with no reason. There is no way to contact FB and apparently no way to appeal. He now can’t admin our team page nor contribute to @LowlandRescue groups 😞

Dad ran me and @kodasearchdog together at training today. Dual search dogs at work. It was so fun! Koda got the first misper, I got the second and we both alerted dad at the same time for number 3! So I’m calling it a draw!
