Sometimes when you're in the middle of history, it's hard to tell—but thanks to @POTUS and @VP and the tireless work of communities across the country, this remarkable chapter of history will continue to write itself.
Thank you for the privilege of being your Energy Secretary.
As @ENERGY Secretary, I’m grateful for the dedicated federal workforce driving this transformation and ensuring America stays competitive, energy secure, and at the forefront of the clean energy revolution. 🇺🇸⚡️7/7

Every dollar committed builds on President Biden’s industrial strategy to create a resilient, sustainable economy. @ENERGY’s Building America's Clean Energy Future map shows the impact state by state. https://t.co/S6ah170rSB /6
Thanks to this historic Investing in America agenda, we're leveraging the infrastructure, expertise, and grit of America’s energy communities—where the workers that powered our energy past, will power our energy future. 🇺🇸⚡️2/2
President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris led the nation to a manufacturing renaissance and the positive ripple effect of this Administration’s robust industrial strategy will be felt by communities across the nation for generations. 1/
NEWS: Today, we're celebrating 22 projects across 17 states that voluntarily shared with @ENERGY that they received a total of nearly $1 billion in allocations from the Qualifying Advanced Energy Project Credit (48C). https://t.co/u5BFzchnuD
Instead of losing their jobs to an economic crisis, now millions of Americans have the dignity of work – creating new businesses and industries, hiring American workers and using American products.
Together, we've launched a new era of American possibilities.
We need more competitive alternatives on the global marketplace for civil nuclear energy, upholding the highest nonproliferation standards, and supporting our common climate goals. 🇺🇸🇰🇷 https://t.co/Vcpbsknt43
Today’s agreement between Westinghouse & the Republic of Korea companies KEPCO & KHNP is an exceptional & long overdue accomplishment, which could pave the way for creating & maintaining hundreds of thousands of American jobs in the civil nuclear sector. >>https://t.co/hIZguYuKN8
It’s been the privilege of my life to serve our nation for over 50 years.
I’ve given my heart and soul to you, and I’ve been blessed a million times in return with the love and support of the American people.
Join me as I deliver my farewell address. https://t.co/DRr4U4sa7B
This Agreement should build a strong foundation for a strategic partnership between the United States and Singapore as they consider development of this essential form of zero-carbon baseload power in support of our climate goals. https://t.co/iXI0biaqBE
Excited that our new MOU on civil nuclear cooperation with Singapore was signed today. Thanks to @MTI_Sg Tan See Leng & his team for work on this agreement, and many efforts on clean energy cooperation in Singapore & throughout Southeast Asia, as well as our fantastic @USAmbSG.
Because of our historic clean energy action, we've set records for solar, wind, and battery storage projects added to the power grid, and charted a course for U.S. electricity to be 80% clean by 2030.
Imagine the jobs that'll create – and its impact on the air we breathe.
Over the past 4 years, companies have announced plans to build nearly 500 new or expanded plants for batteries, electric vehicles, and their supply chains and create 150K+ new jobs.
This is a great start, but the work must continue—or America will get left eating China’s dust.
For the first time, global automakers are rapidly moving their electric vehicle production to the U.S. and their battery supply chains out of China—in huge part because of the Inflation Reduction Act’s EV tax credit.
Thank you, President Biden.
