76.74 acres of encroachment in Mangalampet & Ordered special aerial surveys and Operation Aranya to remove forest encroachments. State-wide special surveys and Operation Aranya are ongoing.

8 smugglers caught in Veeraballi forest (Annamayya district), 12 logs seized,
3 kingpin smugglers arrested in Gujarat, 151 logs (4.5 tons) seized , 9 smugglers arrested in Tirupati area, 20 logs seized, 4 arrested with 158 logs (worth ₹1.9 crore), international kingpins like Mohammed Mujammil arrested, and several groups of 5–7 smugglers in various operations.

Under Adavi Thalli Baata, constructing 1,069 km of roads to connect 625 remote tribal villages / habitations.

This is work done in just one year.

From 1998 to 2024, the law existed only on paper with some implementation — but there was no strong practical progress. Tribals are now able to see visible changes in this area.

దక్షిణాది చిత్ర పరిశ్రమ, ముఖ్యంగా టాలీవుడ్ సృష్టించే బాక్సాఫీస్ రికార్డులు, గ్లోబల్ రీచ్ చూసి బాలీవుడ్ వర్గాల్లో ఎప్పటినుంచో ఒక రకమైన అసూయ, కడుపుమంట ఉన్నాయనేది జగమెరిగిన సత్యం. కంటెంట్‌తో నేరుగా పోటీ పడలేక, దక్షిణాది సినిమాల్లోని లోపాలను భూతద్దంలో వెతకడం ఉత్తరాది మీడియాకు ఒక అలవాటుగా మారింది. తాజాగా రామ్ చరణ్ హీరోగా తెరకెక్కిన ‘పెద్ది’లో హీరోయిన్ జాన్వీని అతిగా గ్లామరైజ్ చేశారంటూ, కొన్ని సీన్లలో ఆబ్జెక్టిఫై చేశారంటూ బాలీవుడ్ మేధావులు, సోషల్ మీడియా ఒక్కసారిగా టాలీవుడ్‌పై విమర్శల దాడికి దిగాయి.

ఈ వ్యవహారంలో చిత్ర దర్శకుడు బుచ్చిబాబు సానా తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయమే ఇప్పుడు టాలీవుడ్ వర్గాల్లో పెద్ద చర్చకు దారితీసింది. సోషల్ మీడియాలో, ఉత్తరాది పొలిటికల్, సినీ సర్కిల్స్ లో వచ్చిన విమర్శలకు భయపడి.. ఆయన సదరు వివాదాస్పద శృంగార, గ్లామర్ సీన్లను సినిమా నుండి ఉపసంహరించుకుంటున్నట్లు ప్రకటించి క్షమాపణలు చెప్పారు. క్రియేటివ్ ఫీల్డ్‌లో ఒక దర్శకుడు తాను నమ్మి తీసిన సీన్లపై ఇంత త్వరగా వెనకడుగు వేయడం.. తానేదో పెద్ద తప్పు చేశానని ఒప్పుకున్నట్లు అయింది. దీంతో, అంతవరకు కేవలం సోషల్ మీడియాకే పరిమితమైన విమర్శకులు, ఇప్పుడు మరింత బరితెగించి సినిమాపై, టాలీవుడ్ మేకింగ్ స్టైల్‌పై రాళ్లు వేయడం ప్రారంభించారు.

బాలీవుడ్ ఏమైనా పత్తిత్తా ?

ఇక్కడ అసలు ప్రశ్న ఏమిటంటే—బాలీవుడ్ ఏమైనా అంత పతివ్రత పాత్రలను, మహిళలను అత్యంత గౌరవప్రదంగా ప్రెజెంట్ చేసే సినిమాలను తీస్తోందా? భారతీయ చలనచిత్ర చరిత్రలో హీరోయిన్లను కేవలం గ్లామర్ బొమ్మలుగా మార్చి, ఐటెం సాంగ్స్ సంస్కృతిని విపరీతంగా పెంచి పోషించింది బాలీవుడ్ కాదా? సినిమాల్లో మహిళల పాత్రలను ఎంత దారుణంగా చూపించారో దేశమంతా చూసింది. ఉత్తరాది సినిమాల్లో అంతకంటే ఘోరమైన, అసభ్యకరమైన సన్నివేశాలు, ముద్దు సీన్లు, నగ్నత్వాన్ని తలపించేలా ఉండే అడల్ట్ కంటెంట్ ఉన్నప్పుడు నోరు మెదపని జాతీయ మీడియా.. ఒక దక్షిణాది సినిమా వచ్చేసరికి మాత్రం సెలెక్టివ్ గా నైతిక సూత్రాలు మాట్లాడటం ముమ్మాటికీ కడుపుమంటతో కూడిన రాజకీయం. టాలీవుడ్ గ్లోబల్ మార్కెట్‌ను డామినేట్ చేస్తుండటంతో, ఎక్కడో ఒకచోట బొక్కలు వెతికి దెబ్బకొట్టాలనే వ్యూహంలో భాగమే ఇది.

దర్శకులు భయపడితే ఎలా?

క్రియేటర్లు, దర్శకులు గమనించాల్సిన ముఖ్యమైన విషయం ఏమిటంటే.. తాము రాసుకున్న కథపై, నమ్మిన కంటెంట్‌పై స్పష్టమైన నమ్మకంతో ముందుకు సాగాలి. ప్రజాస్వామ్యంలో విమర్శలు సహజం, కానీ ప్రతి ట్రోల్‌కు భయపడి సీన్లను కట్ చేసుకుంటూ పోతే.. రేపు సినిమా మేకింగ్‌లో స్వేచ్ఛ అనేది లేకుండా పోతుంది. ఒకసారి తప్పు ఒప్పుకుంటే, ఈ ఇండస్ట్రీలో రాళ్లేసి పాతిపెట్టడానికి ఒక వర్గం ఎప్పుడూ సిద్ధంగానే ఉంటుంది. ‘పెద్ది’ సినిమా బాక్సాఫీస్ వద్ద ఇప్పటికే వందల కోట్లు వసూలు చేస్తూ దూసుకుపోతున్న తరుణంలో, ఇలాంటి అనవసర ఒత్తిళ్లకు లొంగిపోవడం టాలీవుడ్ ఆత్మరక్షణ ధోరణిని చూపిస్తోంది. ఇప్పటికైనా దక్షిణాది క్రియేటర్లు బాలీవుడ్ మైండ్ గేమ్‌ను గుర్తించి, తమ సృజనాత్మకతను గట్టిగా సమర్థించుకోవాల్సిన అవసరం ఎంతైనా ఉంది.

PEDDI BOXOFFICE :

రాజమౌళి, ప్రశాంత్ నీల్, సుకుమార్ లాంటి దర్శకుల కాంబినేషన్స్ పడితే ఎవరైనా కొడతారు.ఆ స్కేల్ లో 40%-50% ఆఫ్ ఓపెనింగ్స్ మార్కెట్ క్రెడిట్ దర్శకులదే!

కానీ .. ఒక చిన్న సినిమా తీసిన మార్కెట్ ఇంకా లేని డైరెక్టర్, కొత్త బ్యానర్ , దాదాపు అవుట్ డేట్ అవబోతున్న మ్యూజిక్ డైరెక్టర్... ఇలా ఏ ప్యాడింగ్ లేకుండా వచ్చిన సినిమా తో.... నాలుగో రోజు కి కూడా ఎక్కడ తగ్గని ఈ స్థాయి ఓపెనింగ్స్ కొట్టడం... అది కూడా డివైడెడ్ టాక్ తో ఈ రేంజ్ కలెక్షన్స్ అంటే అసలు చాలా గొప్ప !

ఇటీవల వచ్చిన చాలా సినిమాల్లో ఇలాంటి బోల్డ్ సీన్లు ఉన్నప్పుడు నోరు మెదపని వాళ్లు, ఇప్పుడు మాత్రం ఎందుకు ఇంతగా లాగుతున్నారో అర్థం కావడం లేదు.

#PEDDI సినిమా మీద ఉన్న హైప్, రామ్ చరణ్ నటనకు వస్తున్న ప్రశంసలు చూసి, కొందరు జాన్వీ కపూర్ సీన్లను అడ్డం పెట్టుకుని సినిమాను, చరణ్‌ను టార్గెట్ చేసే ప్రయత్నం చేస్తున్నట్టుగా కనిపిస్తోంది. పఠాన్, వార్ 2 వంటి పెద్ద సినిమాల్లో కూడా ఇలాంటి సన్నివేశాలు ఉన్నాయి. కానీ అప్పుడు ఇంత స్థాయిలో విమర్శలు వినిపించలేదు.

ఒకటి రెండు సన్నివేశాలను మాత్రమే పట్టుకుని సినిమా మొత్తాన్ని, హీరో నటనను తక్కువ చేసి చూడడం సరైన విధానం కాదు. సినిమా గురించి మాట్లాడాలంటే కథ, నటన, భావోద్వేగాలు, దర్శకుడి పనితనం గురించి మాట్లాడాలి. ప్రేక్షకులకు నచ్చితే సినిమా నిలబడుతుంది, నచ్చకపోతే వారు తమ అభిప్రాయం చెబుతారు. కానీ ఒకే అంశాన్ని పట్టుకుని మొత్తం సినిమాను తీర్పు చేయడం న్యాయం కాదు !

As a filmmaker, I believe cinema should entertain, inspire, and connect with audiences. It should never make anyone feel uncomfortable or disrespected. We have heard the feedback regarding certain scenes in Peddi and have taken it seriously.

I have always had immense respect for women, both on and off screen, and it was never our intention to objectify or disrespect any female character. If any part of the film has been perceived that way, we respect those sentiments, understand the concerns being raised, and sincerely apologize.

After reviewing the feedback, we have decided to make changes to the concerned portions. Cinema grows through its connection with audiences, and as storytellers, we have a responsibility to be mindful of evolving perspectives and sensitivities.

Every woman deserves to be respected, valued, and represented with dignity. We remain committed to telling stories that celebrate strong characters and uphold those values.

Watching a movie is at its worst when you already know what's eventually going to happen. Everything starts to feel pretentious until the very end.
This happened to me with Peddi whether it was trailer breakdowns, gossip, anti-fans revealing major plot points, or Twitter spoilers

Telugu people have forgotten how to simply enjoy movies for what they are—entertainment. These days, every movie discussion turns into a fan war between heroes, and so much hate gets spread online that I don’t think there will ever be a movie in TFI that everyone agrees is good.

Twitter has made it even worse. Since controversial posts get more engagement and reach, many accounts seem to exist only to provoke fan bases, create arguments, and spread negativity. Whether it’s movies or politics, a lot of people are more interested in farming engagement than having genuine discussions. Unfortunately even genuine fans fall for this and get involved in hatred discussions.

These days fans wait for other hero movies to get released so that they can find ways to troll it
