For sure, modern harnesses have computer use these days. I'm less confident in the agent getting it right when it comes to using my credit card though. :shrug: , and I haven't tried this flow completely in the cloud (I'd want it to use browser control to check the reservation system as "me" , but from the cloud VM so I don't have to keep my computer on)

I'll know we've reached AGI when I can just ask an agent to book me a camping reservation at one of the California State Parks without having to book out a year in advance. Like, just monitor for cancelations and if one pops up and my cal is free then hold it, text me to confirm, and then book it.

Yes, text me to confirm because not all of the family things are on the calendar. As much as I try :)

one strategy that I use to make my tokens go farther: delegate to sub-agents for mechanical tasks. I tell my main agent running Fable (or whatever) that it is the orchestrator and that it should delegate mechanical rote work to a subagent running Sonnet, and medium thinking work to a sub-agent running Opus. This simple set of rules is in my CLAUDE.md and seems to help do more before running out of quota. Maybe you're already doing this, but thought I'd pass it along!
