The work will begin at 10:30pm on each of the two work nights and will continue until service resumes the next morning. Riders should expect delays of 20-30 minutes.
Tonight at midnight, BART will reduce service from two tracks to one between North Concord and Pittsburg/Bay Point to create a safe work space for crews performing rail destressing. The work is scheduled to start at midnight and continue until service begins the next morning.

That area provides the footprint we need to stage the construction equipment and the very large crane that will be used to lift the new track sections from the lot into the track. In addition, riders do hold monthly permits for the station and purchase daily/multi day reserved spots. The reserved area becomes available to all at 10am. Daily fee parkers have plenty of options.
