On Wednesday, June 7, seventeen Belmont High School students were inducted in the Société honoraire de français (National French Honor Society). Félicitations!!
Several more CES classes have visited the one room schoolhouse in town. Did you know that Canterbury had many one room schoolhouses spread throughout town until Canterbury Elementary School was completed in 1957?! Many thanks to Mrs. Gingrich and Cate McDonald!

The CES school store is open for business every Tuesday and Thursday before school. The crew is made up of 3rd-5th graders and they do a great job advertising, purchasing products for sale, determining pricing, making sales, and making correct change for their customers.
BHS Climate Change Summit - May 17th
Please join us for the third Belmont High School Climate Summit on Wednesday, May 17th, from 4-6pm on Zoom! Each year this event brings together climatology leaders from around New England to teach and inspire communities.
Last night, the CES PTO held a Snack and Paint Night. Ms. Morrocco, our art teacher, led students and families through a guided painting on canvas. Students enjoyed yummy snacks as they worked on their creations. Thank you, Ms. Morrocco and Ms. Hoover for supporting our event.
The BMS Life Skills Class built robin nest shelves/bird feeders with Mr. Wernig in STEM class. Students cut, sanded, nailed and helped hang them around Belmont Middle School
Competing against a total of 94 teams across the state our 8th graders took 13 of the top 13 places and 20 of the top 23. The team of Kyle Waldron, Justin Levesque, Westley Rolfe, and Liam Dragon took first place by earning a profit of $32,137.33, a new school record!
We are proud to announce that CES set a new school record for the amount raised in support of the American Heart Association. Students and staff raised over $4,200.00! These photos show our students participating in the Heart Challenge activities in their P.E. classes. Well done!
