My elderly parents bought a new washer and dryer at @CDNAPLSource in late August, which was delivered, but turned out to be defective.

The washer rattles and the dryer clunks and no one answers the phones at the head office.
The call centre promised on October 3 to get back to them within 48 hours, but my parents have yet to hear back. How is this possible and acceptable? @BBBCentralCan1

After two weeks of being given the runaround by an international LG Electronics call centre, the company finally agreed to send a new w & d.
Almost 6 weeks after the initial delivery, they finally received a (supposedly) new replacement of yet another defective w & d.
