Ahead of Aspen Art Week, I was commissioned to make photographs for @ArtBasel's latest feature on what makes Aspen one of the art world's favorite summer retreats.

This week, Aspen Art Musuem and Art Basel have come together to present Collector Camp, taking place from July 27 to 31 and bringing together cultural leaders for an intimate program of learning and exchange in Aspen. The gathering also coincides with AIR, Aspen Art Museum’s annual festival, and culminates with the ArtCrush Gala and Auction.

Special thanks to Jeanne-Salomé Rochat, Juliette Amoros, as well as the many kind folks I spent time with in Aspen. I walked about 25,000 steps each day, commuted around using the city's free bikes, and squeezed in an early morning hike up to Smuggler Mountain Overlook for a magical view of the town at sunrise.

We pushed Verse’s biggest ever update yesterday.

To me, @verse_works finally feels like the digital art platform we set out to build; one that nails presentation, curation, and ease of use - and one that helps people see this movement for what it really is, not what 2021 led them to believe.

During the month of May I logged ~613 miles of cycling. More than I thought I would do, after setting the 300 mile goal.

Yesterday was my last ride of the month and it was a great one to end on — 64.44 miles (~100 kilometers). I was surprised to see some pace improvements throughout, beating my previous speeds for just about every distance marker from 10k, 20k, 30k, 50k, up to 100k. Not that I plan on racing anyone but myself here, but still fun to see improvements... It was also just a very beautiful ride.

I wanted to take one last opportunity to express my gratitude to those that supported this little effort. It raised over $300 (that's something!), and meant a lot to me personally. Thank you.

The pedaling continues...
