The cat (hummingbird?) is out of the bag! I got a neck tattoo to honor and remember the journey I went on to get sober after a ten years of alcohol dependency. I’m getting closer to one year sober and this little hummer is going to help me get there and even further!

Yeah it’s so weird. Everything just feels so fun now. I’m switching from movie watching to learning music to writing, etc., but I can’t stick with any activity for very long before some new idea or hobby entices me. It feels like what I’ve heard described by people with ADHD, but I’ve never felt I exhibited symptoms of that in life until now.

Btw I’m 258 days sober after ten years of drinking daily so that’s neat. If you’re currently feeling like stopping is impossible, I felt that exact way too. In the end, all it took was one day without a drink. Then another. Then another. I promise you it’s not impossible.
