“One day, Jeannie called me and said they wanted to use "This Is the Life" in a Disney TV show. A young 12-year-old girl named Miley Cyrus was going to re-record it.

We had no idea what was coming.
That song ended up on Hannah Montana an album that went triple platinum and hit #1 on Billboard for three weeks.

I still remember the moment I received my first check from Disney. I had just finished a shift at work, opened it in my car... and completely broke down in tears. It was more than I had made in an entire year working both jobs combined.
