Everyone name your film criticism pet peeve. Mine is always whenever a film uses inventive editing techniques, utilizes various colors or has a unique art direction and someone attributes it to

"Were the filmmaker on DRUGS or something? Were they HUFFING on a reefer Cigarette?"
