I still don't understand people who complain about "being lied to" whenever they purchase a guide/course/book and it doesn't result in them landing tens of thousands of dollars in deals right away.

First off, if there's any sort of claim that "you will land 120938120398 deals after buying this course" RUN.

It's the same concept with staying away from ad agencies who promise your brand's video will "go viral" if you sign up with them.

Same with UGC or any industry for that matter. I spent $1,500 on courses back in 2020-2021 and I "didn't feel like I learned anything" but you know what, years later, I find myself applying what I learned from that course. It was an investment that I made, and I learned from that experience.

Anyway, I didn't use my platform to publicly shame the creator and say "Oh my god I spent money on your course and I didn't end up like you"

You don't expect to take a BA in Psychology and expect to become a Psychologist right out of university right?

You don't expect to take a BA in Economics and expect to become a CEO right off the bat, right?

Don't spread unnecessary negativity, and clickbaity posts, and stop creating problems that literally don't exist.

YOU have the choice to not purchase anything, you have the choice to do your research before you act on anything. By now, you should be able to discern who you can trust.

There's no point in tearing down other creators. If anything, posts like that create even more confusion especially for the newer creators.
