Kudos to SSCC Welding instructor Scottie Smith, who recently helped judge the 2026 SkillsUSA National Welding competition. The competition, held in Atlanta, Georgia, featured the best high school and college welding students from each state competing for top honors.

🚨Due to ongoing campus maintenance and construction, Shelton State Community College will be closed to the public on Friday, June 26, 2026. The closure impacts the Fredd and Martin Campuses.

The College will resume normal hours of operation on Monday, June 29.
