“हिमालयस्य शिखरे शिखरे संस्कृतम्, भारतस्य गेहे गेहे संस्कृतम्”

केंद्रीय संस्कृत विश्वविद्यालय के 51 सदस्यीय छात्र-छात्राओं एवं मार्गदर्शकों का दल हिमाचल प्रदेश के कुल्लू मंडल स्थित राओरी खोली (12,000 फीट) के साहसिक हिमालयन ट्रैकिंग अभियान के लिए रवाना हुआ।

यह 8 दिवसीय अभियान शिओबाग बेस कैंप से प्रारंभ होकर सेठन गांव, कुकी नाला, लामदो, सुरतू नाला, देव टिब्बा एवं जाबरी नाला होते हुए राओरी खोली बेस कैंप तक पहुंचेगा।

अभियान के दौरान प्रतिभागियों को पीर पंजाल एवं धौलाधार हिमालय श्रृंखलाओं की अद्भुत प्राकृतिक छटा, हिमालयी संस्कृति, पर्यावरण एवं जीवन शैली को निकट से समझने का अवसर मिलेगा।

कुलपति प्रो. श्रीनिवास वरखेड़ी ने दल को हरी झंडी दिखाते हुए कहा कि यह अभियान विद्यार्थियों को भारत की सांस्कृतिक एवं आध्यात्मिक विरासत से जोड़ने का सशक्त माध्यम बनेगा।

उन्होंने पर्यावरण संरक्षण, अनुशासन एवं साहसिक जीवन मूल्यों पर विशेष बल दिया।इस अभियान में देश के विभिन्न राज्यों एवं भाषाई पृष्ठभूमियों से आए विद्यार्थी “एक भारत श्रेष्ठ भारत” की भावना को साकार करेंगे। इस अवसर पर विश्वविद्यालय के कुलसचिव प्रो आरजी मुरली कृष्ण, छात्र कल्याण अधिष्ठात्री प्रो. लीना सक्करवाल वित्त नियंत्रक संजीव गोयल भी उपस्थित रहे

📢 Applications Open for 2026–27 | Schemes for Sanskrit Promotion

The Central Sanskrit University, under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, invites online applications for its comprehensive Sanskrit Promotion Schemes for the academic year 2026–27.

These initiatives aim to strengthen Sanskrit education, research, traditional knowledge systems, and institutional development across India by providing financial support to students, educators, researchers, scholars, and Sanskrit institutions.

Comprehensive Overview of Available Schemes:

• Sanskrit Teaching Engagement: Financial assistance for Full-Time (₹2.4 Lakh), Part-Time (₹1.2 Lakh), Guru-Shishya Parampara (₹60,000), and Residential Scholarships (₹6,000).

• Student Scholarships: Monthly/annual stipends for students regularly studying Sanskrit, Pali, or Prakrit from 9th & 10th standard up to Ph.D. level (ranging from ₹5,000 to ₹35,000).

• Samman Rashi: An annual grant of ₹60,000 specifically dedicated to supporting Eminent Sanskrit Pandits living in indigent circumstances.

• Shastra Chudamani: Highly prestigious remuneration of ₹4,80,000 (over 24 months) to utilize the expert services of Eminent Shastric Scholars and Retired Sanskrit Faculty.

• Programmes & Activities: Institutional grants of up to ₹1 Lakh per event to organize conventions, lectures, and activities that promote the language.

• Vocational Training: Funding of up to ₹1 Lakh per training awarded to Traditional Sanskrit Institutions for skill development.

• Publication Support: Grants specifically allocated for the Publication, Bulk Purchase, and Re-Print of Rare Sanskrit Books.

• Ashtaadashi: Dedicated structural funding for eighteen special projects aimed at sustaining the overall growth and expansion of Sanskrit.
