October is LGBTQ+ History Month!🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🎉

On June 27, 1970, Chicago’s very first Pride was held in our very own Washington Square Park. I’m working with the LGBT Hall of Fame to secure a plaque that shares this special piece of history.

We must remember what it took to get here, and how far we can go together.
