Choosing not to run to 1B *and* you have a runner on 3rd with 2 outs. This is literally giving up a run and who knows what else happens with the next batter. A better comparison would be someone stepping out of bounds on 4th and goal instead of trying to get across the line. Also we see football players give extra effort to get yards all of the time. But agreed… no point in trying to convince him otherwise, complete fool.

It’s only sexist when people hurl sexist insults about it. Everyone is allowed to criticize performance, but the comments are full of “keep women out of baseball” and calling her all sorts of names generally used for insulting women. Some real gross behavior coming out of some people.

Tons of people in the comments of every post about her specifically say she doesn’t know baseball, call her a DEI hire, and use some pretty strong language specifically related to her gender. Don’t act like everyone’s criticism is well thought out and rooted in facts. All that said, my vote is to keep Brad and Angie pre/post and give us full time Goldy and Valle. Hyphen can sub in whenever. Buhner as a third on occasion.
