Imagine coming face to face with a dragon old enough to have helped conquer Westeros.
That’s Vhagar.

By the time of the Dance of the Dragons, she wasn’t just the largest dragon alive. She was a relic from another age!
She had flown with Visenya Targaryen and outlived nearly every dragon that once ruled beside her.
And that’s what makes HBO’s version so interesting.

In the books, Vhagar is described as huge, ancient & powerful.
But the show took those words and asked a different question:

What would a dragon actually look like after living for nearly 200 years?

The result isn’t a majestic fantasy creature.
The missing horns. The sagging skin. The scarred face. The way she looks more like a living siege weapon than a fantasy creature.
None of that is described in much detail by George.

HBO could have made Vhagar look beautiful.
Instead, they made her look ugly and ancient.
And that’s probably why she’s the most intimidating dragon the franchise has ever put on screen.

Do you prefer the version George described, or the HBO version?

OpTic have found a new bogey team in LA Thieves

They’ve lost 4 times to LAT this season which is almost half of their total losses on the season (9)

Their last 3 losses have all come to LAT, having won all other 13 series in that timeframe.

With these two looking clear 1 and 2 in the league right now, OpTic better find a way to beat them if they want to end this 2nd place curse.
