Wizkid has time to feud online repeatedly, quick to react, but can't use the same platform or energy to call-out the govt over bad governance that is affecting literally everyone, including the fans he claims to love; A govt that is headed by his own very ethnic person. Thousands of people have been k'lled, reported attacks across the country that has made international news, and still, not a single word from him. However, when a northerner was ruling the country he was the loudest, and even went as far as insulting a fellow artiste (Reekado) for failing to read the room.
Colours!
My wife was watching me play COD the other day and after a while she couldn’t keep it in anymore. She said “why do you like kìllinğ people from behind? Don’t you have honor? Face them like a man nau”
Lmao when e reach your turn, write letter to the enemy that you’re coming to shoot them 😂
I wanna put you in seven positions for 70 minutes, you get it, babe
You got a lot on your mind
And I wanna ease it up and lick it and slip it in
You doin' light scream on that ice cream when I scoop it and dip it in
Unzippin' the tight jeans and that feminine hygiene is magnificent
Tryna show you, girl, I'm different
I get to lickin', and stickin', and lickin', and stickin' it
It felt normal to many people until it came from your own blood or person you know.
This happened to my brother too. In his case, it wasn’t a text; it was a phone call.
Back when terrorism and Boko Haram were at their peak, killing soldiers almost every day, my brother was right there in the thick of the war, fighting night and day. Many of his comrades were killed.
One beautiful morning, he called me. His voice was heavy as he told me they were about to move into the main enclave of Boko Haram in Sambisa Forest. He said the mission was going to be very tough. Through his voice, I could tell the men were ready to die.
He said, “I will send you my account information and bank details. Keep them safe. My cars are yours too, in case anything happens. But please, don’t tell Mama I’m in Sambisa. Just pray for me and my comrades to come back home alive.”
With a deep voice and tears in my eyes, I replied, “Sir, you’re coming back home alive, safe and strong.”
After that, the network cut off. I tried reaching him again, but it didn’t go through. The only thing that came was a text from him containing his bank details and some confidential information.
That was it. His number was switched off for the next seven days. No calls, no messages. I kept hoping and praying he was safe.
Then on the ninth day, I received a call from him. His voice was deep and filled with sorrow.
“We defeated them,” he said, “but I lost my comrades… my course mate and my antiman. Omo, it was deadly. But God saved me.”
Thankfully, my brother came back alive. He is now retired and doing strong.
May GOD continue to protect our Soldiers. And for the fallens heroes who paid the ultimate price. Your memories will always be with us. And it'll be written in gold. Thank you. Till we meet again.
Simi was asked the first meal she would make for her husband after the wedding
She said she will make Noodles and egg or pizza.
She even went on afterwards to clap for herself for her answer.
Her husband Femi wasn't a bit alarmed or even showed any form of surprise at her answer.
You could obviously tell he was very cool with it.
I chuckled and smiled at them.
Moreso, I smiled at the diversity of Human preferences.
It made me remember a friend who is married to a man whose favorite meal is Tea and bread.
If you wanted to make the most amazing meal for him, just set him a cup of Tea and bread.
His second favorite meal is Golden morn or noodles.
You see, this friend is such a great cook and had fantasies on how she would spoil her husband with different delicacies, only to now be married to a man who absolutely didn't care.
Infact, if you spent an hour making food in the kitchen, he saw it as an absolute waste of time.
Human preferences!
Again, I remember another friend who's husband is the cook of the home.
This girl doesn't know how to make the most basic meals and her husband is so comfortable covering it up for her while she learns.
Recently, he even bought her a car.
Human preferences!!
Again, I remember living with a lady and her husband many years ago.
Her husband needs her to make him fresh meals everyday and even after almost 25 years of marriage she never complained.
He doesn't Eat out or even eat any meal made by anyone aside her.
She doesn't travel because her husband always needed her around for even the most basic things like drawing a bathing water.
On the outside, you would pity her but if you came close, she was absolutely enjoying her marriage.
Human preferences!
I have intentionally brought all of these scenarios to show us how diverse human preferences can be.
In the real world of Relationship and marriage, there is no one size fits all.
Everyone must learn to understand their own person and do what absolutely works for them
