For those of you who haven't seen, the Duke (now Lucy) has had a full refresh! π However I'm now getting rev spikes when accelerating hardish... Unless it's a coincidence, it's gotta be either the new clutch lever (not engaging properly) or the exhaust (needing a map). Thoughts?
Got asked by @sirjambo if βI ride anymoreβ, told him βof course not, riding is so last season!β π
I also occationally laugh at my own jokes too π
@OliverKaten Dainese sort of do a bit of everything they don't only focus on sport where as held primarily just do sport. By practical I mean more like function (WP etc) and cost. It doesn't fit perfectly into what I need to do unfortunately.
@NigeRider@XTDonkey I'm no expert by any means, but I'm fairly handy when it comes to bikes. I've got a checklist of things to look at and do when I'm back on home soil. One of which is clean the injector...
@NigeRider@XTDonkey I've been doing a fair bit of research over the past few days, way before coming to Twitter don't worry. The error light (FI) that often comes on after is related to fuel injection so as mentioned I'm pretty sure it's to do with the fueling.
@XTDonkey@NigeRider Yeah that's sorta the plan. Was just wondering if anyone had any moded contraptions/tips to get it it to actually get the cleaner through. Everything on YouTube looked sketchy as π
@NigeRider@XTDonkey While in the country side of France & Spain I haven't exactly been able to choose petrol brands. I've ran 98 through the bike a few tanks now but still having issues of the bike cutting out when decelerating as well as accelerating. Almost certain it's a fueling issue.
Clean bike anyone? We can't come round and sort it, but a @muc_off valeting kit will set you on your wayπ Usual WeekendWin drill... RT and like us (if you don't already) to be in the mix for a free kit. Winner chosen randomly Mon, Sep 17. Prize info... https://t.co/u4R6vaVtxK
@XTDonkey Yeah there's a lot of conflicting information and of course different brands are better than others. I read in some studies that some can actually cause more build up (mainly for newer engines) while others just move carbon deposit it from the valves to the piston heads π€π€
